East River FFA Chapter
Hey y'all! I am Madelyn Jones and will serve as your Orange County Federation Reporter for the 2024-2025 school year!

I am currently a sophomore at East River High School, and a proud member of our FFA chapter! This year will be my 5th year in the FFA, my 5th year as an officer, but my first serving the OC Federation. Outside of the FFA, I am an active member of the Camo n' Critters 4H club, East River High School Choir, serving as a brand ambassador for Wandering Maverick Boutique, among many other hobbies. A fun fact about me is that I am certified in artificial insemination for cattle! I love everything "AGvocating", agriculture education, vet science, livestock, public speaking, and singing! I hope that this year I can impact students and members of all ages, and help them find their place in this beautiful organization. I am so excited to get to know every one of you and watch you grow into the best version of yourself. Let's have an amazing year.
Sow, Reap, Grow
As one of my SAE projects, I decided to focus on agricultural education with "Sow, Reap, Grow". This SAE cultivates agricultural futures through hands-on learning experiences!
Beef Production and Management
As an additional SAE, I raise and sell beef cattle. Previously, I have raised a bull, multiple heifers, and a market steer. In the coming years, I plan to start a Brangus breeding program.
Ministry + Leading Worship
In my spare time, I lead worship with some of my best friends. We travel, compete, and most importantly; worship as often as possible. In August of 2023, we competed in Cleveland, TN at the Church of God's International Teen Talent, placing 2nd out of all states, countries, and territories that attended.
Wandering Maverick Boutique
I have the privilege to be a brand ambassador for Wandering Maverick Boutique; a brand that "AGvocates." I love this brand because they use their social media presence and graphic designs to advocate for agriculture, spreading awareness and understanding across the country! Awareness and understanding of all things agriculture is extremely important, and is something that I always try to teach individuals about no matter where I may be, or what I may be doing.
